Monthly reading sessions at the Scottish Poetry Library

No preparation required, no previous knowledge, just the pleasure of exploring poems in company of fellow poetry lovers of all ages and interests. Held on the first Saturday of each month, each session looks at a handful of poems by one poet. Details and booking information from the Scottish Poetry Library.

Join me to read aloud some of Yeats best-loved poems and for an accessible and stimulating discussion of Yeats’ life and work. This event is suitable for those new to poetry, as well as more experienced readers. You can find out how to book here

14 February 2015: Alastair Reid
We will read out and talk about a selection of poems by the poet Alastair Reid.  No previous knowledge or experience necessary. 
Two different sessions available at 11 am and 2 pm.

18 April 2015: Rosemary Tonks
We will read out and talk about a selection of poems by Rosemary Tonks.  No previous knowledge or experience necessary.
